Community Walk

A big thank you to the Friday Bushwalking Group, who invited members to join them for a walk In Sherbrooke Forest on a glorious autumn day in May.

We were promised a gentle, unrushed walk through ferns and trees and that is what we were given, although the writer was huffing and puffing a bit on the “gentle” incline. It was great stopping to admire some of our mighty mountain ash trees and to have a rest and a chat when we reached the halfway point at Cook’s Corner.

A very welcome cuppa at the cafe at Grant’s Picnic Ground completed a most enjoyable event.
