Last year our painters worked on a group project to create three wonderful paintings of the Back Beach at Sorrento. The class’s tutor, Dianne, entered them in the 40th Sorrento Community Art Exhibition, where they went on display from 6 – 13 January.
The double painting, titled “Sorrento Back Beach” was sold for $900 and the single painting of “Sorrento Rock” is still for sale at $500. “Cityscape” by Barbara, one of the class members, was also exhibited.
Dianne and the art class are to be congratulated for such a great initiative and excellent result.
